LIFE EcoTimberCell updates the board catalogue that integrates the EcoTimberCell structural systems
The TABLEX board manufactured by the company Betanzos HB is a hard fibre board produced from timber from sustainable and local plantations, which uses the wood's own lignin to bind the wood fibres, avoiding the use of artificial binders in its manufacture.
The use of this board in the LIFE project stands out for its use as the structural core of the EcoTimberCell systems. The advantages of the improved 6.4 mm standard and water-repellent (5.4 and 6.4 mm) board, as well as its physical and mechanical properties, are presented in the board catalogue.
The results presented in this catalogue highlight the structural properties of the Tablex board and its potential in the construction sector.
