Ecosystem services assessment results provided by productive forest systems
From LIFE EcoTimberCell we want to highlight the increase in ecosystem services provided by productive forest systems when we apply Certified Sustainable Forest Management (SFM).
To this end, we have developed the Assessment of the ecosystem services provided by these systems. In this analysis, we identified and assessed 24 ecosystem services, confirming their increase when SFM is applied.
This work integrates the perception that key actors have of the ecosystem services, obtained through a survey.
